Roy Wood is a writer and Chef, based in Coastal Victoria. With a background in aged care and a deep connection to community and family, Roy brings compassion and insight to every story he tells.

He is the author of Grandma’s New Home, a heartfelt picture book that helps children understand and navigate the changes that come with a loved one moving into aged care.

Inspired by his work in kitchens and his three curious children, Roy writes books and short stories that spark important conversations and support young readers through life’s big moments.
